Not medical advice

The information and results on this site are for general information only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and they are no substitute for consulting a qualified healthcare professional.

Body Mass Index is a screening indicator, not a measure of health. It does not distinguish muscle from fat and is unsuitable for children, adolescents, pregnant women, athletes and the very elderly without adjusted references. Never delay seeking medical advice, or disregard advice you have received, because of something you read here.

Not a medical device

The calculators perform published arithmetic and present classifications issued by public health bodies. They are not intended for the diagnosis, prevention, monitoring, prediction, prognosis or treatment of any disease, and are not a medical device within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2017/745.

Accuracy

The site is provided “as is”. We take care that the calculations and reference values are correct, but we give no warranty that they are accurate, complete, current or fit for any particular purpose, and no warranty that the site will be available without interruption or free of error.

Your data

Anything you enter is stored only in your own browser. We cannot recover it for you. Clearing your browser data, using private browsing or switching device or browser will lose your saved history. If it matters to you, use the export function to keep your own copy.

Acceptable use

You may use the site freely for your own personal purposes. You may not attempt to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access to it, scrape it at a scale that burdens the service, or reproduce its design or source code as your own.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, this site or its results. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your mandatory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Greek law. The courts of Athens, Greece have jurisdiction, save that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the European Union you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence and may bring proceedings there.
